A fine Dutch polished silver pair cased verge pocket watch, circa 1740. Gilt full plate fusee verge, pierced and engraved balance cock with British Royal Coat of Arms, blued regulation, silver stop work and decorative pillars.
White enamel dial black Roman numerals, arcaded outer minute chapter, blued steel beetle and poker hands.
Polished inner and outer cases, inner case engraved ‘George Washington’.
