An English silver pocket watch with portrait, fire gilt full plate movement, circa 1695. Decoratively pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, small silver regulator disc plain flat gilt balance, blued steel balance spring, worm and wheel set-up, tulip pillars, fusee with chain, white enamel with blue Roman numerals. Outer case chased and engraved with a polychrome enamel portrait of a classical dressed lady at the back. Inner ring dial with hours and quarters, flowers in the middle, and a single blue hand.
