Gold open faced lever pocket watch

A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold, a keyless pocket watch with extra movement, circa 1913. Made for Tiffany & Co., sold on April 2, 1914. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. A solid, polished case, the case back with engraved monogram, concealed hinge. Dedicated hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel spade hands. An extra movement, rhodium-plated, Geneva striping decoration, 22 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to eight positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial signed: Tiffany & Co., Switzerland, case and movement signed: Patek Philippe & Co.
