A rare English 20 carat gold triple cased key wind repoussé pocket watch made by Allen Walker in London, London Hallmarked for 1785. The gilt full plate movement with a fusee verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge with steel three arm balance and silver regulation disc. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer arcaded minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and gilt Louis XV hands. A polished inner case, repoussé middle depicting Mars and Vulcan and the outer case is of underpainted horn with stud decoration. Dial and movement signed.
