Extraordinarily large English double case verge pocket watch adorned with enamel decoration, circa 1800. This watch features a gilt outer case with engravings on the edge and a bezel set with white and red gem stones. It also has a gilt case. Enamel dial with Arabic radial hours, outer minutes and seconds track with Arabic five minutes andseconds numerals and Breguet style hands. Full plate movement with verge escapement, chain and fusee and a three arm iron balance.

The back of the outer case showcases a large paillon decorated enamel medallion with a geometric trellis design, stylized green leaves, and flat beads. This is set over an engine turned and translucent cobalt blue enamel ground.
