A very fine, English gold, enamel and pearl-set pocket watch with open face, circa 1820.
Gilt, calibre 18,5’ movement, verge escapement. Gold dial, engine-turned centre with Roman numerals on a plain reserve, outer minutes track, and original blued steel spade hands. Round-shaped 18K gold case, both bezels set with pearls, back with translucent blue enamel over an engine-turned ground and also set with pearls. Dial, case and movement signed.
