An extraordinary English 18 carat gold fob watch with auxiliary seconds, circa 1750. Firegilt full plate movement in the similar shape as the case, keywind, applied pierced and florally engraved ornaments, chain/fusee, square baluster pillars, cylinder escapement, three armed steel balance, florally engraved and pierced balance cock with mascaron, chatoned diamond endstone on balance. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and serpent hands. Plain case with sector bulge, five piece hinge. Signed movement.
