An exquisite English gold and enamel hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater, circa 1875.
Signed and numbered best-quality English precision lever movement, diamond endstone, and minute repeater (plate with some loss of gilding). Signed enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued steel hands. Polished, 18K gold case of fine quality with spring lid, an enamelled noble coat of arms, London 18K Hallmarks, and case-punch AN (Adolph Nicole).
