An English 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch with matching chatelaine, circa 1860. The movement with a verge escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and blued spade & whip hands. An engraved, partially fire gilded, case. Comes with the original winding key and an also partially fire gilded chatelaine with the French import mark, inscribed with E. Prichelt.
