A very fine English, 18-carat gold open faced key-wound pocket watch, circa 1860.
A polished case and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands. Frosted gilt movement, lateral lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance with gold temperature, Breguet balance spring, parachute, index regulator. Case signed.
