An English lever in a gold half hunter case, hallmarked London circa 1892. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement, raised section over the going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator and diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Plain 18-carat gold half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring. Maker’s mark ‘PW’ in an oval, number corresponding to that on the movement.
