Gold minute repeating chronograph

A fine and heavy gold English minute repeating hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1898. Gilt 3/4 plate frosted lever movement, cut and compensated balance, micro-regulation, repeating via two polished hammers on two gongs by a slide in the band at 6.
White enamel dial with regulator style subsidiary seconds and 60-minute counter, blue steel hands and central chronograph hand operated via a button in the band at 12, heavy polished case with thief proof bow, London Hallmark for 1898 and case maker’s mark EM for Edward Matthews of Clerkenwell.
