A rare and extravagant English pair cased verge watch with mock pendulum, circa 1750.
Brass pair cases, formerly silvered: 1st case with floral relief, very beautiful English solid quality, 2nd case smooth, punched with a “B” (possibly for Barber). Interesting verge movement with mock pendulum under the bridge and the main plate signed and numbered. Unusual, probably silver dial with Roman numerals and blued Poker & Beetle steel hands.
