An English silver pair cased repoussé verge watch with night and day indication, circa 1780, gilt full plate verge movement signed Bros Watts, London, pierced and engraved balance cock. Champlevé dial with Roman numerals, Arabic outer, fan form aperture for night and day indication, subsidiary seconds. The polished inner case is stamped PB, and the repoussé outer depicts the family of Darius before Alexander. The scene is signed Mauris Fecit at the base.
