A rare English gilt-brass and leather travel compendium with an eight-day clock, thermometer and barometer, circa 1910. A leather travel case with a folding cover and foldable stand, two gilt revolving cases for the clock and barometer, winding crown to wind the pocket watch, for the thermometer revolving inner bezel, the thermometer between on a white plate with black painted scale. Silver dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and luminous-blued steel spade hands. The barometer is cream-painted with a black barometric scale and a blued steel arrow pointer. Gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed, travel case numbered.
