An especially beautiful 18 carat gold pocket watch with repeater and musical movement, made circa 1800. The numbered open faced case of this watch is crafted from 18 Carat gold and has a  beautiful high relief band, the DLG case punch, floral motifs and a back with engraving in the shape of a historical ship. The professionally restored white enamel dial has an outer ring with black Arabic numerals for the hours dial and very decorative snake shape steel hands. The movement is a lépine caliber, has a cylinder escapement, repeats the hours and quarters and has music on the hour or on demand which can also be muted.
