An extremely fine and exceptionally rare Swiss, extra large, 18 Carat yellow gold, keyless pocket lever chronometer, circa 1929. With a one minute tourbillon first class observatory rating obtained in 1932-1933, regulator by J. Golay-Audemars, Guillaume balance, 36 hour power reserve indication, and a first class Observatory rating certificate obtained in 1932-1933. The movement was made in 1929, case in 1984, sold on April 4, 1984. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.

A polished case, concealed hinge. Gold rimmed glazed cuvette. Matte silver dial with painted black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, power reserve indication at 12 o’clock. Blued steel spade hands. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, 19 jewels, one minute tourbillon regulator by Golay-Audemars, three equidistant arms polished steel cage and bridge, calibrated and counterpoised lateral lever escapement, Guillaume cut animal brass compensation balance, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, 18 gold peripheral temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
