Art Deco watch with two-tone dial
–
An extremely rare Art Deco pocket watch made by Omega in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, circa 1930. The open faced, numbered case was crafted from 18 carat white gold with yellow gold bezels and bow. One of the standout features of this timepiece is its two-tone enamel dial, which showcases a combination of colours, Breguet hours on a black chapter ring, outer minute dots, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and Breguet hands, above the subsidiary dial the phrase Importé de Suisse (Imported from Switzerland) is engraved. The numbered movement of this watch has a lever escapement, specifically made for export.
Dial, dust cover and movement are signed.
