Yellow gold keyless quarter-repeating pocket watch

A fine and rare, 18 carat yellow gold, keyless, quarter-repeating pocket watch. Made by Patek Philippe & Co., Genève and retailed by A.H. Rodanet & Cie, 38, Rue Vivienne, Paris, circa 1870.
Four-body polished case, it’s back cover engraved with a monogram. Hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and five-minute Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands.
Matte gilt movement with 21 jewels, wolf ‘s tooth winding, straight-line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator and repeating on gongs with two polished steel hammers activated by a slide on the band. Cuvette signed and numbered, also by the retailer.
