A fine and extremely rare, Swiss, manual wind, 18-carat yellow gold coin watch, circa 1980. A present from Johnn Stark to Mireille Mathieu.
Manual winding nickel lever movement, 18 jewels, mono-metallic balance. Champagne coloured dial, painted black baton indexes, blued steel hands. The 18-carat yellow gold case is made by Huguenin and has a concealed 18-carat yellow gold coin watch. Case, dial, and movement signed.

Made possibly as a unique piece for internationally renowned French singer Mireille Mathieu, this Piaget coin watch features her portrait on both sides. Interestingly, her manager’s name, Johnny Stark, is also engraved; (possibly as a gift to her).
