A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat yellow gold, platinum, enamel and diamond set open faced ladies’ pendant watch made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1908. Retailed by William Kendrick & Sons in Louisville, Kentucky, U.S.A. The ultra thin movement with 18 jewels and a lever escapement. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, an outer scale for the minutes in red and Louis XV hands. The case in a platinum openwork diamond set frame features translucent grey blue Limoges style enamel over a guilloché ground, the back is further enhanced with a central diamond set medallion, a further cabochon sapphire crown and gold cuvette with an inscription. Case and dial signed by the watchmaker, movement and cuvette signed by the watchmaker and retailer. Accompanied by an unsigned chain with an openwork pendant, spaced by enamelled bars.
