A fine and rare German, 20K gold pair cased pocket watch with repoussé decoration, circa 1750. Rococo Landscape by Johann Nicolaus Delle, Augsburg. Outer case: the back with repoussé rococo garden, inner case: bassine, plain, polished. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic minute ring. Blued steel lozenge hands. A hinged gilt brass full plate movement with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass English type cock pierced and engraved with foliage, regulation disc. Movement signed. Inner case stamped AG. Property of a Swiss Gentleman.
