A fine Swiss 18 carat gold and gem-set open faced lever pocket watch, circa 1890. High-quality keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel, steel wolf’s teeth winding wheels, plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blued steel overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement, escape pivots with end-stones. Plain gold cuvette. Convex white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt minute markings and gilt hands. The case set with diamonds and emeralds, applied three-colour gold floral decoration which continues over the middle and onto the front bezel, decorative cast swivel bow. Suspended from a matching gold bar set with diamonds and emeralds, locking gold pin and short safety chain.
