A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch with chronograph made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1901. The manual wind jewelled movement with a lever escapement. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track with fifth of a second divisions and Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the constant seconds at 6 o’clock and 30 minute register at 12, blued spade hands. A plain case with the initials MC engraved on the back, a sliding button at 11 to lock the chronograph and an 18 carat yellow gold cuvette. Case and dial signed, movement signed and numbered.
