A very rare anker chronometer with original box, made by Breguet in Paris, France, circa 1900. The open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has a monogram on the back lid. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold Breguet hands. The movement has an exquisite anker chronometer escapement, a chronometer balance and wolf’s toothing.
The dial and cuvette have matching numbers and dial, cuvette and box are signed.
