A French 18 carat yellow gold, open faced, hand wound, gentlemen’s pocket watch, made by Le Roy, Julien & Cie. in Paris, circa 1900. This watch features a gold case with a double cuvette in yellow gold, engraved with L. Leroy et Cie Paris. The white enamel dial is signed and includes black baton hour markers, an iron track, black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial, and gold pear shaped hands. It has a hand wound mechanical movement signed L. Leroy & Cie and uses a lever escapement.
