A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold enamel novelty pendant watch shaped like an antique warrior’s helmet, circa 1890. It features a small nickel finished central manual wind movement with a traditional lever escapement. The white enamel dial displays black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, and fine blued steel spade hands. These are framed by a gold border with delicate geometric engravings. The timepiece is realistically modelled as an antique classical warrior’s helmet, crafted from 18 carat solid yellow gold. The blue enamelled protective case covers are hinged on both sides to open, revealing the movement and dial. They are adorned with fine translucent enamel over hand engraved rocaille foliate scrolls and ribbon patterns. The helmet form is completed with an integrated suspension pendant eyelet at the top crest.
