A fine French 18 carat gold open faced keyless cylinder pocket watch with chased and engraved monogram, circa 1900. The watch features a mechanical movement with pendant winding and cylinder escapement. It has a white enamel dial with black Roman numerals for hours, an outer minute track with Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, and Louis XV style hands. The plain 18 carat gold case is monogrammed with finely chased foliate scroll decoration on the back.
