A French 18 carat gold open faced pocket watch, made by J. Etcheverry in Paris, circa  1900. This watch features a mechanical movement with manual winding and a lever escapement. It has a white enamel dial with painted Roman numerals, a railroad style minute track, inner blue 24 hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and spade hands. The gold case has a smooth case back. The slide is engraved with J. Etcheverry, horloger de précision, 9 rue Taylor, Paris, Xe.
