A French 18 carat pink gold open faced pocket watch with triple calendar, accompanied by a gold chain, known as a Gilletière, circa 1900. The case back features an engraved monogram and the dust cover displays a patronymic. Its white enamel dial uses Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and has blued steel spade hands. There are four subdials: the date at 12 o’clock, days of the week at 9, months of the year at 3 and auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock. The watch has a lever movement with an anker escapement and includes a GILETIÈRE with a roller link.
