A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, of French quality, circa 1880-1920. This watch features a hand wound mechanical lever movement. The white enamel dial displays Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer chemin de fer (railway) minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The round 18 carat yellow gold case features a plain smooth case back. The case is fitted with a matching yellow gold dust cover in 18 carat gold.
