A Louis XVI gold enamel pocket watch with cylinder escapement in near mint condition, circa 1785.
An 18 carat gold, enamel, paste set bezels, movement protection cap, enamel dial, beautiful hands, full plate movement, chain/fusee, three-arm brass balance.
An exquisitely ornamented Louis XVI pocket watch. The bezels on the front and the back are decorated with paste stones. The back shows a translucent cobalt blue enamel medallion with a polychrome painting of a period pastroral scene, paillon decoration and paste stones.
