A very decorative splendour French verge watch with chatelaine, circa 1750.
Very extravagant and extremely rare 18 carat solid gold case with outer silver and gold decorations, 3 different gold nuances and floral decoration. Verge movement signed “Ballion a Paris“. White enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic minutes and gilt hands. The watch has a corresponding chatelaine with a seal pendant and a matching key.
