A French, very fine and rare, Louis XV miniature verge watch à quatre couleurs with real diamonds and repeater, circa 1770.
Louis XV shape, exceptionally high quality, 18K gold case, the back shows a flower basket, worked in four different colours, and the opening button, pendant, handle and bezel set with real diamonds. Very well preserved enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track with Arabic five minutes numerals, and pierced Louis XV filigree silver hands set with diamonds. Very rare, complicated spindle movement with knock repeater. Case and movement numbered, movement and dial signed Fol a Paris.
