A French 18 carat multi colour gold key wind open face pocket watch with enamel portrait miniature, circa 1770. Gilt full plate fusee movement with verge eacapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, three arm balance and silver regulation disc.
Stone set white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and black outer minute track with Arabic numeral five minute markers, winding aperture at 2, stone set decorative hands.
Polished consular with a portrait miniature of a girl to back set within polychrome enamel and three colour gold borders, engraved bezels. Signed dial & movement.
