A very fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with Breguet numerals and 24-hour dial, circa 1934. Accompanied by the original fitted box and an 18K yellow gold long chain. Accompanied by the original certificate. Tir Federal Fribourg by Ulysse Nardin, Locle & Genève. Specially made for the Fribourg “Tir Federal” crossbow archery contest in 1934.

A polished and frosted case, the back cover cast with the design by W. Jordan Del Hugenin SC. of a kneeling archer surrounded by the inscription Tir Federal Fribourg 1934. Hinged gold cuvette engraved Reconnaissance à M.A. Corboud Membre du Comité d’Organisation. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blue painted Arabic 24-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds. Black Breguet hands.
A frosted gilt movement, bar calibre, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
