The so called S.G.D.G. tachy dial enables the measurement of any speed between 10.5 and 240 units without the aid of calculations. The 30 minute counter begins with five differently coloured minute segments that indicate the colour of the tachometer scale on which the speed can be read directly. This rare patented Omega chronograph was made mainly in silver. Gold examples are extremely unusual.
