Silver and gold à tact quarter repeater by Raymond Le Noir

A fine and rare French silver and multi coloured gold dumb quarter repeating and à tact pocket watch, circa 1750. Gilt brass with baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three arm brass balance, pierced and chased continental type foliate balance cock, silvered regulation dial, repeating on the inside of the case activated by depressing the pendant.
The case back with a multi coloured gold musical trophy and ribbon and leaf border on a sun ray ground, the bezel decorated to match.
White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five minute numerals. Gold Louis hands.
