A French 18K gold and porcelain open faced rococo verge pocket watch with a genre painting, circa 1760. The case is typical for the rococo period, with a lateral hinge, an engraved rim, the case back with a polychrome painting depicting a kitchen scene with two women, kids and a dog, chips at the rim are professionally restored. White enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic five-minute numerals, gilt hands. Signed verge movement.
