A French lever chronometer, “Médaille d’or avec 244 points de l’Observatoire de Besançon”, with original box, circa 1910.
The case of this watch is 18 carat gold. The white signed enamel dial consists Arabic numerals for the hours and a subsidiary dial for the seconds. It has a bridge movement, a gold screw compensation balance and a fine adjusting via threaded rod.
