These watches, manufactured towards the end of the 19th century, are distinguished by their quality and refined aesthetics, such as our example which was most likely intended to be worn as a collar watch. These pieces bear witness to the Geneva watchmaking heritage and the continuity of know-how between Henry Capt and his successors, L. Gallopin & Cie.
