A fine French 18K varicoloured gold and enamel pocket watch with calendar, circa 1760. The Water Pump by Mazurier à Paris. A Louis XV case, engraved with a scene of a boy at a water pump by a cottage, polychrome enamel background with ladies and gentlemen in a landscape, the front bezel chased and engraved with flowers and scrolls. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals, inner calendar numerals, Gold Louis XV hands.

A hinged gilt-brass full plate movement, pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, steel three-arm balance with flat spring, continental cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, polished steel endplate, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate. Movement signed.
