A rare, heavy quarter repeating double sided pocket watch with decimal time, decimal time striking mechanism, 24h indicator and full calendar, circa 1785. Gold case, tiered, polished. Enamel dial, 2 x 12 hour indication with Roman numerals, Arabic decimal time in the centre, Breguet gold hands, radial month indication. Full plate movement, key wind, frosted, gilt, chain and fusee, cylinder escapement, three arm steel balance, pierced balance cock.
