A large 18 carat gold skeletonized quarter repeating pocket watch, circa 1830. A polished case with a reeded band and a hinged transparent cuvette. Transparent, white enamel dial outer ring with Breguet numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Outer minute track, the polished steel repeating mechanism visible on the skeletonized gilt brass front plate. Gilt brass movement, partly skeletonized and engraved with free-standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Unsigned.
