The Prix Yacowlef is a Listed flat horse race in France open to two-year-old thoroughbreds. It is run at Deauville over 1,000 metres (about 5 furlongs) and takes place each year in early July. Unusual for a Listed event, the Prix Yacowlef is contested by previously unraced horses. For most of its history, it has been run over 1,000 metres, but from 1987 to 2004 the distance was extended to 1,200 metres. The race used to be held in early August but was moved to early July in 2005.
