LeCoultre & Cie did not engage in a formal partnership with Le Roy & Fils.

While both were highly prominent names in 19th-century horology, their historical timelines and business alliances were entirely separate:

– LeCoultre & Cie was a Swiss manufacturing powerhouse founded by Antoine LeCoultre in the Vallée de Joux. Their most famous and defining partnership occurred in 1903 when Jacques-David LeCoultre teamed up with the Parisian watchmaker Edmond Jaeger, a collaboration that ultimately led to the creation of the modern luxury brand Jaeger-LeCoultre.

– Le Roy & Fils was a prestigious French clockmaking and watchmaking firm founded in Paris in 1785 by Basile-Charles Le Roy. In 1889, the company was taken over by Louis Leroy and renamed L.Leroy & Cie.

Although Swiss manufacturers in the Jura region frequently supplied movements (ébauches) to high end Parisian retailers like Le Roy & Fils, there is no historical record of a corporate partnership, merger, or formal joint venture between LeCoultre & Cie and Le Roy & Fils
