A fine French 18 carat gold and pearl set key wind open faced pocket watch, circa  1830. Gilt full plate fusee movement with verge eacapement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, silver regulation disc.
Engine turned gilt dial with black Roman numerals to polished chapter ring and black outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2 o’clock, blued steel Breguet style hands.
Engraved consular case with seed pearl set bezels and blank cartouche to the back. Signed dial & movement, spuriously signed Breguet, case stamped DB.
