An elegant gold enamel hunting case pocket watch, circa 1900. 18k pink gold case, black enamelled lavishly engraved circumferential band depicting hunting scenes, godroned upper and lower part, signed gold dome, case maker punch mark “RF”, cord-shaped pendant. The dial is enamel, Arabic numerals, sunk auxiliary seconds, gold Louis XV hands. Bridge movement, frosted, gilt, mirrorpolished screws, wolfteeth winding wheels, screw compensation balance, blued balance spring, counterpoised lever, gold-chatoned ruby endstone on lever and escape wheel.
