A French quarter repeating verge in a silver gilt open face case, circa 1820. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial. Push pendant quarter repeating on two steel gongs. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Faded engine turned silver open face case with ribbed middle, push pendant, winding through the sprung gilt metal cuvette.
