An early 19th Century French gilt and enamel open faced verge pocket watch, circa 1820. Full plate fire gilt key wind fusee movement with square pillars, smooth backplate, pierced and engraved cock with steel coqueret and silver regulator disc, plain three armed gilt balance. Winding through the white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and nice gilt hands. The case back with a polychrome enamel portrait of a woman, bezel on both sides engraved and set with stones.
